Locally Organized Testimonials
I first met Annie when she helped me prepare a furnished rental home for a new tenant. Annie and her friend Fiona worked to organize cupboards, clean, move furniture, and update the space using what we had. I was happy with the result; the house was clean, organized, and had a more pleasing layout.
This fall, I wanted to organize my own basement storage room. While everything had a place, it was helpful to take items out of storage to sort and only keep the things that hold value at this point in my life. We moved and sometimes repurposed items making the room feel more spacious. The things I kept are well organized, and the things I use are now easily accessible. Working together was fun. Having an outside person with no attachments to what you own is helpful when decluttering. ~Sondra Smith
We love our home but the dining room felt cramped having six people sit at our table each evening. We considered moving but love the rest of our house and the location where we live, and a remodel was not in our budget. We had two comfortable couches in the front formal living room but didn’t use them for anything other than kid coats and backpacks. Annie and I decided to repurpose the space. The original dining room became an office where we added a desk as a work space for paying bills and doing homework as well as lockers so that each family member has a designated storage area for their belongings. We moved the furniture from the formal living room to our family room and hauled away the old family room furniture we had been using. I found a beautiful dining room set on Facebook Marketplace and we now use what was originally the formal living room as our dining room. Even with the large table, hutch and buffet, the room feels spacious and we can easily accommodate guests during holiday dinners. ~IC
